When we travel it's natural to book a hotel. It's what most people do. It is quick and convenient and online booking allow canceling reservation a few days before without losing any money. This is an important advantage when deciding where to stay.
Nevertheless, due to the high costs and often questionable quality of hotels, it has been becoming increasingly common the possibility of staying in an apartment. Even not having room service, this disadvantage is offset by significant savings in the cost per day, together with the possibility of additional savings using the apartment kitchen to make breakfast and dinner, and even lunch, if we are near at the noon hour. Also it is like being at home in our own apartment, even though we are in a foreign country. We make life as a countrymen, to put it in colloquial terms.
